Recent changes to the satellites that broadcast Fransat service have resulted in the service being unavailable in the North of England and Scotland, please call or provide your postal code and we can check availbilty.
Fransat is a French digital satellite TV service similar to the UK Freesat service. Fransat consists of the popular 18 channel TNTSat group of channels (plus an addition 6 HD channels) including TF1, M6, Canalplus*, France 2, 3, 4, 5 etc. The Fransat viewing cards are valid for for 48 months, you simply buy the receiving equipment and there is nothing more to pay for four years.
With channels covering many genres, the Fransat package meets the preferences and tastes of the whole family - entertainment, news, culture, drama, music and cinema. You can even select your favourite region for regional programming on France 3. Click on the channel logos scrolling across the screen to link to the broadcaster's website to check programme listings and channel content information.
Fransat systems are available in both Standard Definition (SD) and High Definition (HD). Currently 10 Fransat channels are broadcasting an HD service: TF1, M6, Arte and France 2 broadcast both SD and HD whilst 6 additional channels: HD1, L'Équipe 21, 6ter, Numéro 23, RMC Découverte HD 24 and Chérie 25 broadcast exclusively in High Definition. If you have a High Definition TV then Fransat HD is for you, stunning HD pictures from your favourite French TV channels.

Fransat broadcasts from the Atlantic Bird at 5° west satellite. If you already have a satellite dish aligned to Atlantic Bird a simple 2 minute self installation is usually all that is required to install your new digital Fransat set top box. If you are unsure how to do this, our dedicated team are happy to offer telephone support and a UK-wide installation service. For customers with no previous French TV service we offer complete systems including a dish for self installation or let us handle everything from start to finish including professional installation at a convenient time for you.
